Jack’s Strong Start on the Clutch Pro Tour in the UAE – T2
Jack got off to a strong start at the Clutch Pro Tour’s UAE Championship in Al Ain. His first two rounds, of 5 under, took him into the lead with -10 going into the final round, only to be beaten by one shot to come tied 2nd with a score of -11.
The 54-hole tournament, which was locally sanctioned under the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) umbrella, had a full-field entry of 155 players. Director of Golf, Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club, Shane Peacock said after the final round: “We have a tremendous three days of Golf at the highest level. That is great golf anywhere to have three guys break 200 over three days. That is nice to see, especially when at least some home-grown UAE talent put up a fight against the future champions. Shout out to all the winners and the high performers for their scores. The players can be extremely proud of their performances. All those shown at Al Ain this week – most likely headed to the highest levels of world golf – are names to watch for sure … maybe sooner than we think on the elite Tours of the game worldwide.” (Source Sportsmonk.)
In addition to coming T2, Jack moved up 309 places on the OWGR (Official World Golf Rankings) and won a Challenge Tour (now called The Hotel Planner Tour) start. The date for this is yet to be confirmed, so please sign up to his latest news section below to be kept up to date with Jack’s journey.
