Jack Cope Secures Tied Second at Clutch Pro Tour Tier 1 Clandon Regis Caddy Comps Championship and Climbs to 949th in World Rankings

Jack Cope delivered an impressive performance at the Clutch Pro Tour Tier 1 event held at Clandon Regis, securing a tied second finish in a highly competitive field. The result not only confirms his growing consistency on the UK’s most progressive professional golf circuit but also boosts his position to 3rd on the Order of Merit and also on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), moving him up to 949th globally – his highest position to date. In just 3 months, since the beginning of March’25, he has moved up 615 places on the OWGR.

Across the tournament, Cope demonstrated the form and composure that has become a hallmark of his 2025 campaign. A steady opening round set the foundation, but it was his 6-under-par second round, marked by strategic play and precision putting, that propelled him into contention. In the final round, Jack held his nerve under pressure, carding key birdies and an eagle to maintain pace with the leaders and ultimately secure a share of second place.

This strong finish at a Tier 1 Clutch Pro Tour event – which offers greater world ranking points and exposure – reinforces Jack’s trajectory towards the Hotel Planner Tour (previously known as Challenge Tour) and beyond. His world ranking climb to 949 reflects his sustained performances across Clutch events, both domestically and overseas.

“Really happy with my performance recently as well as the improvement in my subsequent rankings,” said Jack after his round. “My game’s been trending in the right direction, and I’m also pleased to see the work paying off. I’m focused on building momentum and putting myself in contention week after week. I’ve set some goals for this year and good to tick off a few, but I’m determined not to stop here and will keep pushing on to achieve everything I set out to do this year.”

As the 2025 season progresses, Cope’s sights remain firmly set on earning Hotel Planner Tour (Challenge Tour) invitations and preparing for DP World Tour School later this year. With form, confidence, and now a significant world ranking boost, Jack is positioning himself strongly for the next step in his professional journey.
